Digital Swimwear Printing
Not all printed swimwear is created equal.
While polyester sublimation is widely available in Bali, we offer something different: direct digital printing onto premium American REPREVE recycled nylon. The result is beautifully defined prints, rich, true-to-life colours and an exceptionally soft fabric that feels every bit as luxurious as it looks. We notice that adding one or two prints is one of the fastest ways for brands to boost sales and create unique, high-end pieces.
Contrary to popular belief, prints are far easier to handle than custom colours and only cost a few cents more.
Because premium swimwear deserves more than a beautiful print.
Printing takes about a week, with another week for delivery through our Tax Free Fabric Import Facility in Bali.

Exceptional prints begin with exceptional printing technology.
We use Italian MS digital printing machines and premium Huntsman dyes developed for nylon. This process allows us to reproduce intricate artwork, delicate details and rich, vibrant colours directly onto the fabric.
Our printing is handled by a specialist overseas facility, with finished fabric shipped regularly to our Bali manufacturing operation.
Importantly, our printed fabrics are tested for colourfastness against chlorine, saltwater and sunlight, helping preserve their beautiful appearance under normal swimwear conditions.

REPREVE Hawaii is one of our most popular recycled swimwear fabrics, offering a smooth finish, excellent stretch and comfortable fit. Its surface is ideal for digital printing, allowing us to reproduce vibrant colours, intricate patterns and fine details with excellent clarity. Combined with its shape retention, durability and resistance to chlorine and saltwater, REPREVE Hawaii is an excellent choice for creating premium printed swimwear collections.

Step 1: Send Us Your Artwork
Send your design as an AI, EPS or SVG vector file, or as a high-resolution JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD or PDF.
For image files, we recommend a minimum resolution of 300 dpi at the required print size, with artwork prepared as a seamless repeat.
Already found a print you love? Our graphics team can help check and prepare suitable existing artwork for production.
We confirm the file is print-ready, then send back a layout preview showing how the print sits and scales on each of your swimwear styles. Our in-house graphics team can check and adjust artwork you have chosen, usually at no extra cost.
We do not redraw or create prints from scratch.

Colours on a computer screen can differ from those printed on actual fabric.
For the closest possible match, we recommend supplying Pantone TCX colour references.
We’ll check your artwork, confirm the repeat and provide a layout preview showing how your print will appear on your chosen swimwear designs.

We’ve put together a simple guide to help you find suitable prints, understand seamless repeats and choose artwork for your collection.
Step 2: Approve your print
Before committing to bulk production, you can check how your artwork reproduces on the actual fabric.
Choose from three approval options:
- Digital approval: An A4 printed strike-off photographed or filmed for your review. USD 30 per design.
- Physical strike-off: The same A4 print delivered to you, so you can see and feel the result. USD 30 plus courier.
- Two-metre print run: Ideal for checking colours and producing samples in your actual print. USD 60 plus courier.
Two metres yields several samples and is the most reliable way to confirm colour before bulk. Allow a few extra weeks for printing and delivery.
Step 3: Printing & Production
Custom digital printing starts from 70 metres per motif, approximately enough for 100 bikini sets depending on styles and sizes.
Allow around 2 to 3 weeks for your printed fabric to reach our Bali facility, following final artwork approval and production scheduling.
From there, your collection moves into our established swimwear manufacturing process, with production timing confirmed separately.
Working to a tight deadline?
We sublimate on white polyester here in Bali in 2 to 3 working days, for samples and production. Sublimation is faster but not as good: the colour sits on the surface rather than in the fibre, and polyester lacks the hand feel of nylon.

Dyes
Our dyes are supplied by Huntsman in the USA and meet OEKO-TEX and GOTS standards, supporting safer textile production and responsible environmental practices.
To preserve the vibrancy of your prints, rinse swimwear in cold, fresh water after each use and avoid leaving garments damp for extended periods, as this may cause colours to bleed or fade.

Digital Print FAQ
What is the minimum for a digital print?
Digital prints are printed in rolls of 70 metres minimum per print, and you can order any length above that. 70 metres makes approximately 100 bikini sets, depending on styles and sizes.
How long does digital printing take?
Allow around 2 to 3 weeks for your printed fabric to reach our Bali facility. On a tight deadline, we can sublimate on polyester in Bali in 2 to 3 working days.
Can you design a print for me?
We don’t create prints from scratch, but in most cases our graphics team helps with layout and adjusts your chosen artwork free of charge. Our free print guide shows where to find ready-made prints.
Will my print stay exclusive to my label?
Yes. Client designs stay confidential and are never reproduced for other clients.
