Swimwear Samples

Once your designs are confirmed and payment is made, a dedicated swimwear sample merchant will get in touch to confirm every detail before we begin. The first thing we do is create your patterns using advanced digital 2D AutoCAD software, ensuring millimeter-perfect grading across all sizes.
Next, we cut your fabrics, apply your custom heat-press logo, and assemble each sample in our swimwear studio.
Each piece then passes a three-stage quality check before accessories are added, followed by tagging, bagging, and photographs of each article for your approval.
Once approved, we ship via DHL Express, with delivery to your door in approx. three working days.
With over 30 years of manufacturing experience in Bali, our sampling team focuses on accuracy, consistency, and speed, ensuring your first pieces arrive ready for proper fit testing and refinement.
From the moment your samples leave the studio to the moment they arrive at your door, our team remains available to answer questions, explain adjustments, and guide you through any tweaks needed before bulk production.
Notes
Minor tweaks, such as adjusting a bikini bottom to be more Brazilian or making a top less revealing, are handled using our advanced digital pattern software. If there are major discrepancies from your original handover, we will remake the samples free of charge.

Design more. Launch the best.

Many brands get to market faster by sampling more designs than they actually plan to sell.
A serious swimwear collection typically starts with around 10 designs — for example, 5 tops, 4 bottoms, and a one-piece. Bottoms tend to be staples that work across styles, while tops are where most of the design variation happens.
Quick note on numbers: when we talk about designs, we mean individual pieces. A bikini set is 2 designs — a top and a bottom. It’s a common source of confusion, so it’s worth keeping in mind when planning your collection.
If you’re aiming to launch with 10 designs, consider sampling 11 or 12. Once the samples arrive, check the fit, the finish, and the fabric — then choose the ones you’re confident in. Drop the ones that don’t work, or keep them all. The choice is yours.
Think of the extra samples as wiggle room — space to make the best decisions before you commit to a bulk order.
Cost and time are everything when you’re starting out. Sampling 12 designs costs only a little more than sampling 6 to 8 and takes exactly the same time — and the $30 management fee per design is refunded when you place your bulk order.
A common mistake new brands make is starting too small — sampling just 3 or 4 designs to test first, then planning to add more later. Split into two rounds, and you’re paying for shipping twice and waiting twice as long. If you’re only testing our quality, inform us.
Sample once. Choose the best. Launch.

International Body Size

We size and grade according to recognised international body standards. To ensure the best fit for your market, we recommend reviewing our size guide before requesting samples.
Upon request, we can adjust sizing up or down by a full or half size, for example converting our Medium into your Small.

Sample Fees

Example Prices:

Custom Designs:

  • 2 x Wholesale + $30 development fee.

  • Example: A bikini at $12 = $24

Ordering Samples

Whether you’re ordering custom designs or ready-to-order styles, request samples by sending front and back screenshots, tech packs, or clear line drawings. Simply email or WhatsApp us your styles, fabric colours, and prints, or fill out our sample request form.

Ready-to-order styles can also be purchased directly from our shop. Whatever style code you select will look exactly like what you see in our catalogue in your chosen colours and prints, making sampling unnecessary (unless required for a photo shoot or fitting).

Many brands skip sampling, placing a bulk order, saving both time and money.

If you’d like to discuss your sample ideas or clarify any details, schedule a callback with a swimwear sampling specialist.

Selecting Colours

We offer a huge range of trending colours.
Samples are usually assembled in stock colours to speed up the process. Choosing stock colours over imported custom options ensures a smoother transition to bulk production. Additionally, stock colours come with no MOQ, allowing you to add more colours when placing your bulk production order.

Adding Custom Prints

We use Italian MS digital print machines on recycled American REPREVE® nylon to produce vibrant, true-to-life imagery with a soft, cotton-like feel.
Although digital printing takes a few weeks longer than printing in Bali, 99% of buyers prefer it for its superior quality. Printed swimwear accounts for over 20% of our swimwear production.
Need it faster? We also offer sublimation printing on Vita PL polyester in Bali.

Need assistance? Our graphics team are here to help.

Take Note:

Our prints are produced overseas to ensure superior print quality and a better fabric hand feel than anything available locally in Bali.
The process takes up to 2.5 weeks from order to arrival — whether you approve via video or request a physical strike-off on the actual fabric. Either way, the timeline is the same.
Please factor this into your overall schedule, alongside your standard production time of 4–6 weeks.

Accessorizing

The right accessories don’t just complete a look—they elevate your brand and drive sales. That’s why we stock the most in-demand swimwear accessories in a variety of colours and sizes, giving you plenty of options to enhance your designs.
Need extra support or structure? We can seamlessly add cups, wires, and boning to almost any design.

FAQ

After your styles are confirmed, patterns are created digitally, samples are sewn in our sample studio and each piece passes a three-stage quality check before shipping.

Sampling generally takes 2 to 4 weeks depending on design complexity.

Samples are shipped worldwide by DHL Express and typically arrive in around 3 working days.

For custom designs, we highly recommend sampling first. For Ready designs, being pattern and graded, you can skip sampling and place direct to bulk

When producing two sets, we charge only the estimated bulk price without a management fee for the second set. When you order just one set, you have to send it back to us to use against your production order, plus courier fees and import taxes into Bali, making two sets cost about the same as one.

In the case of two sets, the set in our office is used to compare against the first cuts in your production.
