Once your designs are priced and sampling fees are paid, you will be assigned your own dedicated sampling merchant who manages everything from your initial handover through construction to delivery. Whether you are a start-up brand or adding to an established brand, every person is treated with the same precision and care. Sampling is how you check fit, finish and fabric before committing to bulk. Most brands are through it in 2 to 4 weeks.
On request, we can also produce a free 2D mock-up, showing your full collection in the colours and/or prints you have chosen before anything is cut.
Custom Designs:
2 x Wholesale + $30 development fee per style
Ready Designs:
2 x Wholesale, no development fees.
If it isn’t right
Minor adjustments are handled digitally at no charge. Anything that differs significantly from your approved handover is remade at no extra cost.
We suggest 5 to 12 designs: a good selection of tops and bottoms, plus one or two one-pieces. Most brands sample more than they plan to sell, then cut the weak ones and launch with a range that works.
If you’re launching with, for example, 8 pieces, sample 9 or 10. Sampling 10 costs only a little more than 6 to 8 and takes exactly the same time, while splitting into two rounds doubles both your shipping and your wait.
Brands that sample fewer than five rarely go on to bulk. If you’d like to test our quality with one or two styles first, send us your brand name and website, and we’ll let you know if we’re a good fit.
Custom Designs
Send us your style codes or imagery along with your chosen fabric and colour selections via email or WhatsApp. We will confirm all details before production begins. If you are adding a print, note that sampling from actual printed fabric nearly doubles your production timeline. For most brands, the A4 strike-off is the smarter route.
Please tell us your styles, fabrics, colours and any print or branding requirements, and we will handle the rest. Guidance is always free, and we respond fast.
Q: Do I need to sample before bulk?
A: For custom designs, we recommend it. Ready designs are already patterned and graded so that you can place straight to bulk.
Q: Should I order one sample set or two?
A: Two is better. The second set is charged at the estimated bulk price, and it stays in our office so we can compare it against the first cuts of your production. If you order one set, send it back to us (or we can collect it) so we can do the same.
