We’ve been launching first-time labels since 1993. Here’s exactly what happens from the handover of your styles to delivery at your door, what it costs to begin, and how to get the highest grade of product, in the finest fabrics and accessories, at the lowest possible price and in the fastest possible time.

Planning your collection

Most swimwear collections launch with 8 to 12 styles across tops, bottoms and one-pieces. Sample one or two beyond what you intend to sell, so you can move forward with the strongest pieces and set aside anything that does not earn its place. We are a production house rather than a design studio, which makes us a good fit for brands building a commercial range. Those starting with three or four styles rarely reach bulk.

What we can and can’t produce

We find that swimwear in trending shapes with superior sculpting is what sells. Examples of accepted styles include classic triangle and bandeau tops, supportive underwire designs, high-waisted bottoms, one-pieces with subtle contouring seams, and minimalist cuts that offer a flattering fit. We rarely accept highly complex styles, such as excessive cut-outs, intricate multi-strap builds or multi-layered structures. If in doubt, please reach out with your ideas before developing full designs.

Getting Started

Launching a sustainable swimwear label of your own is far simpler than you think. With your designs in hand and a knack for social media, you’re already halfway there. The rest, from samples to bulk POs, is over to us.

You can start with custom designs, ready designs from our range, or a mix of both. Whichever you choose, send us a handover with each style marked plain or printed, and we’ll send you a price. Exact colours and prints come later, once you approve your costing.

Good to know

Price estimates arrive two to three days after your handover. Well-formatted handovers produce faster costings, with samples arriving exactly or very closely matching your handover.

  1. Custom Designs

    All we require are either front and back screenshots, clear line drawings, tech packs or links to online designs with some notes on any edits you want made. Send as a Word or PDF doc, by email or WhatsApp. We do not accept sketches or AI handovers.

    Our ready-to-order designs are patterned and graded to international body sizes, ready to produce. Order from our shop, or add the style codes you like to a sample request form. NEW. Ready designs come with a free Fabric Swatch Pack.

    Combine your custom creations with our ready designs. You can send custom styles as mentioned in 01, or our Ready Designs by adding style codes to a Sample Request Form.

How It Works

Six steps from handover to your door.

  1. Fabrics & Colours

    Select which fabric you want to work with and whether you will be pricing in plain colours or prints.

  2. Handover

    Email or WhatsApp us screenshots, clear line drawings or tech packs, with notes on changes.

  3. Costing

    Your free price estimate arrives in 2 to 3 days. The price you approve is the price on your invoice.

  4. Mock-Ups

    Once samples are paid, you may request a free 2D mock-up in your chosen colours and prints.

  5. Sampling

    We create your patterns in advanced 2D AutoCAD for accuracy. Samples are ready in 1 to 3 weeks.

  6. Delivery

    Packed ready to sell in biodegradable bags, shipped by DHL Express in 3 to 5 days.

From handover to delivery, most new collections are completed in 6 to 8 weeks. This includes the time for costings, sample development, approvals, and production. This timeline helps you plan your launch and marketing with confidence.

Below is a simple example of one page from a client’s handover for pricing. It shows each style as a screenshot, the colours they want and notes on changes, plus their logo layout for the heat-pressed brand name inside the back of each piece.

Your product development coordinator

With prices approved, you’ll be assigned a product development coordinator who will confirm every detail before sampling begins. On request, we provide a complimentary 2D mock-up of your designs in your chosen colours and prints, allowing you to review your collection before fabrics are cut. If adjustments are needed, this is your chance to make some last-minute edits.

We do not rush the sampling process. Ensuring accuracy from the start results in fewer revisions and a far greater starting point when it comes to your bulk PO.

Commonly Asked Questions

Do I need a tech pack?

No. Screenshots, tech packs or clear line drawings with a reference photo are enough to start. Our sampling specialist will then create your patterns, ready to cut your fabrics.

Will my designs stay confidential?

Yes. We can sign an NDA before you share anything, on request.

Can I add my own branding?

Yes. We can custom-brand almost everything, such as metal hardware and packaging, and add hand beading, sequins and crochet. We require a detailed handover to follow.

Italian Carvico and American REPREVE recycled fabrics in 100+ colours, ready to cut at a moment’s notice. REPREVE is Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certified, and Carvico utilises OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabrics, meeting internationally recognised benchmarks for environmental and social responsibility.

Selecting stock colours saves weeks or more waiting for fabrics to arrive. Stock fabrics are fresh, flown in weekly as orders are cut.

Custom dyed

Your own colour, landed in Bali within 4 weeks of your deposit. MOQ 100 metres, with a USD 100 small-batch surcharge under 300 metres per colour to cover set-up and wastage.

Digital prints

We print digitally on REPREVE American nylon, not polyester, providing superior true-to-life colours with a super soft hand feel. The softest fabric we offer.

Swatch packs come free with any purchase in our shop. Prefer to order one on its own? It’s priced at USD 75 inc. shipping and is credited back to you in full when you place your first bulk PO. Feel the softness and texture of each swimwear fabric before you sample. Your pack includes real swatches in select colours, laser-printed colour cards, high-gloss metal charms, pads, heat-pressed logo samples, hygienic liners and commonly requested accessories and packaging.
