Swimwear Bali is a swimwear manufacturer in Bali producing custom swimwear using imported Italian and American recycled fabrics. Operating under Indonesia’s Bonded KITE licence, the company is able to import premium fabrics under a regulated export framework while reducing landed fabric costs.
Swimwear Bali operates as part of PT King Trading, established in Bali in 1993, and manufactures for brands across Australia, California, the United States, the European Union, Southeast Asia and the UAE.
Our facility in Badung employs approximately 250 skilled staff and operates around 150 specialised machines, producing between 50,000 and 60,000 garments per month. All production is handled in-house, from digital pattern development through to final packing and dispatch.
Our Story
Founded in 1993, PT King Trading began as a small Bali workshop and has grown into a fully integrated manufacturing facility trusted by more than 300 brands worldwide.
Swimwear Bali was created as the dedicated division specialising in premium swimwear and resort collections for both start-up and established labels.
Our approach combines decades of manufacturing experience with modern production technology, careful craftsmanship and responsible sourcing practices. Each project begins by understanding the client’s design vision, target market and performance requirements before recommending the most suitable fabrics, fits and finishes.
How We Work
All production takes place inside our Badung manufacturing facility, where each stage of development and production is handled under one roof.
Digital Pattern Development
Patterns are created using 2D AutoCAD, ensuring precise grading and consistent sizing across every style and size range.
Sample studio
Our specialist sampling team produces around 30 custom samples each day, allowing brands to refine fit, structure, coverage and finishing details before bulk production begins.
Cutting and construction
Imported recycled fabrics from Italy and the United States are cut and assembled using specialist machines designed for stretch garments, ensuring durability, comfort and reliable seam construction.
Finishing
Each garment receives the client’s custom heat-pressed logo, optional accessories or hardware, and is then barcoded and packed in biodegradable cassava bags.
Dispatch
Orders ship worldwide via DHL Express, typically arriving retail-ready within three to five working days.
