Before you start, check the Swimwear Bali size guide to decide if our international sizes fit your market. These are fitted sizes, not flat sizes, so compare them with anybody you consider a good size using a fabric tape measure before you set your size range.

What to include

What Goes in a Tech Pack

A swimwear tech pack shows how each piece looks, what it is made from and how it fits. A complete one includes:

  1. 01Front and back line drawings
  2. 02The fabric (for reversible styles, the fabric for each side)
  3. 03Measurements for your base size and the sizes you want
  4. 04Straps, elastics, pads and any hardware
  5. 05Where your logo and labels go

Start Without a Tech Pack

Swimwear Bali does not need a tech pack to price your designs. Send any of these by WhatsApp or email:

With your designs, tell us two things: the fabric, and whether your samples are plain or print. Colours and print motifs come later, once you accept the prices.

Swimwear details

Details Swimwear Needs

Swimwear stretches, gets wet and sits close to the body, so a few details matter more than in other clothing.

Double sided

Every Swimwear Bali style is made double sided, usually in the same fabric and colour on both sides.

Reversible

Give the fabric for each side, and whether each side is plain or print.

Pads

Note which tops have them.

Back view

Leg height and back coverage only show from behind.

Branding files

Logos and Artwork

Logos are applied by heat press. Bulk production starts once your finished logo files are in, so have them ready by the time your samples are approved.

Send your logos and layouts in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG), or as JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD or PDF. Every file needs a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. If you find this complex, our team of graphic experts can help, in most cases free of charge.

Swimwear Bali does not create artwork, but helps with layout and adjusting your own artwork free of charge. Embroidery is not offered. Hand beading is the alternative.

What Happens Next

Once you accept the prices, your product development coordinator confirms every detail with you, including colours and prints, before anything is cut.

Samples take 1 to 3 weeks, plus 2 to 3 weeks for digital print or imported fabric, and arrive by DHL Express in 3 to 5 days. See how custom swimwear sampling works.
