We print mainly on Italian digital machines onto super-soft REPREVE® recycled nylon from the US. Printed swimwear is one of our main services, and hundreds of brands keep adding new prints. Bydee in Australia started with 1,000 units and now orders several prints each month.
Digital printing puts dye straight into the fabric for bright, realistic colour and a natural look. Our Hawaii print fabric feels very soft, shapes the body well and dries quickly, and we print with American OEKO-TEX® certified Huntsman dyes, so your swimwear looks great for years.
Prints are also easier than most people expect, faster than custom-dyed plain colours, only a little more expensive, and simpler to manage. Printing takes about a week, with another week for delivery through our tax-free fabric import facility in Bali.
Step 1: Submit Your Artwork
Send your artwork in vector format (AI, EPS, SVG), or as JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD or PDF. Your file needs a minimum 300 dpi resolution and a seamless repeat.
We confirm the file is print-ready, then send back a layout preview showing how the print sits and scales on each swimwear style. Our in-house graphics team can check and adjust artwork you have chosen, usually at no extra cost. We do not redraw or create prints from scratch.
A quick note on colour before you send artwork
The colours in your artwork, on screen or printed out, are not what prints on fabric.
If possible, include a Pantone TCX code with your artwork and your colours arrive as you intended.
If this sounds complex, it is not. Send whatever artwork you have and our four in-house graphics specialists will handle the colour matching with you. Colour matching is something this factory has done for more than 30 years.
