Swimwear Bali creates every custom pattern in-house using 2D AutoCAD software, perfecting the body-sculpting fit of your designs and grading every size accurately. With hundreds of patterns on file, we find shapes close to yours in minutes and adjust from there. We aim to make your samples exactly to your handover in the first round, saving you the cost and time of remakes. That’s why we never rush a sample.

Custom swimwear doesn’t have to cost more: in most cases, our custom prices sit close to our Ready Design prices. We see labels that launch with well designed custom collection gain traction quickly, coming back time and again with larger orders.

Swimwear Bali is Bali’s largest importer of overseas recycled swimwear fabrics, with over 250 colours to select from. We hold over 100 colours of imported fabrics from Carvico Vita, Sumatra and Pantelleria from Italy and Eco Lustra from the US, in stock and ready to cut at a moment’s notice. For even more choice, we can pick up any of the 150+ swimwear colours held by Paramatex in Denpasar, an hour from our studio.

MOQs & Timelines

MOQ are set per collection, not per style. This means you can mix as many styles, colors, and sizes in your order as you like.

Example: 4 bikini sets and 2 one-piece swimsuits across four colours in three sizes.

If you choose from our in-stock colours, custom samples take 1 to 3 weeks, and ready designs take 1 to 2 weeks. Bulk orders are ready in 3 to 5 weeks after we receive your deposit, approved specs, and logo files.

If anything goes wrong, your product development coordinator tells you straight away and agrees the fix with you. Small fit changes are made on your pattern for free, a sample clearly different from your handover is remade at no cost, and your designs are never made for another label. You’re never left on your own, because we care about your brand as much as you do.

How do I choose a swimwear manufacturer for my first collection?

Compare more than the minimum order. Ask whether minimums are set per collection or per style, what the first samples cost, and whether your colours are held in stock or imported to order. At Swimwear Bali, samples are cut straight from our shelves, with no delays waiting for fabrics to arrive.

How big should my first swimwear collection be?

Most swimwear collections launch with 8 to 12 styles across tops, bottoms and one-piece swimsuits. Sample one or two more than you plan to sell, as labels that start with three or four styles rarely reach bulk.

How much does it cost to sample swimwear?

Swimwear Bali charges 2 times the wholesale price for custom design samples, plus a USD 30 development fee per style that is credited against your bulk deposit. Ready Design samples cost 2 times wholesale with no fee, and all samples are paid upfront.

What is the difference between private label and white label swimwear?

Private label swimwear is made from your own designs, so no other label sells the same shapes. White label means starting from a maker’s existing styles: our Ready Designs work this way, made in your choice of fabric and colour with your logo heat-pressed inside. Mix n Match lets you combine both in one collection.

How much can I sell my swimwear for?

Labels typically sell our pieces at 4.6 to 7 times the factory price. On a piece from US$11.50, with discounts available for larger orders as you grow. The price we offer that you approve is the price you are invoiced: We never add additional costs.

Can I use my own fabric?

Yes. Our Tax Free Fabric Import Facility also covers nylon or polyester as long as we import the fabrics from any supplier, and the fabric is made into swimwear and exported from our facility.

How does Swimwear Bali check quality?

Every order passes three separate quality checks. With a duplicate sample set, one set stays with us in Bali, and our team checks the first cuts of production against it.

Yes. Prices come down as your orders grow, and top-ups of your best sellers go straight into production from fabric we already hold.

How much does shipping from Bali cost?

Swimwear Bali ships worldwide by air, including all ports in Australia, the United States, the UK, the EU, Asia and the Middle East, and DHL Express delivers in 3 to 5 days. Samples to the EU, the US and the UK cost USD 50 for 1 to 7 pieces, or USD 100 for 8 to 14 pieces; for other destinations, prices are on request. Bulk orders cost around USD 1.50 a piece. Import duties are paid by the buyer.

Yes. Swimwear Bali signs an NDA on request before you send any designs.
