Please note. We may be able to reduce the MOQ if you are ordering swimwear, activewear, or ladieswear.

2 – Your choice of colour in either plain or space dye.

HAND-MACHINE KNITWEAR
What is the process of hand-machine knitting?
Heavy-duty table machines operated by skilled knitters are used to create knitwear. You can see how we produce different types of construction by viewing the images and videos below.
Each knitwear design consists of panels. A clean, professional finish is achieved by linking the seams together after knitting with the machine below.
1 - HANDOVER YOUR DESIGNS
We require an image of the design/s you want to be produced and a basic tech pack informing us of all the basic measurements. Listed below are some examples of designs we found on Pinterest that we consider to be relatively simple both in design and construction.

- Avoid overtly complex designs, and keep the construction relatively simple. Our team will let you know if your designs can be produced once you send them over.
- Generally, the heavier or thicker the knitwear, the more costly they become.
2 - SELECTING PLAIN COLOURS
All of the colours shown below are pre-dyed & available off-the-shelf. Order by selecting the colours and using the codes. Should any colour request be out of stock, it will take three to four weeks for the yarns to be transported from West Java.
Normally, black and white are always available.
We require approximately three weeks for custom colour requests & approximately one week for colour matching, and one month for production. MOQ 50 Kilos per colour.
3 - SELECTING KNIT CONSTRUCTIONS
The first thing to keep in mind is not to confuse knit construction with the designs or shapes you want to create. For instance, you can choose any design to be made in several different constructions, such as double knit or ribbed.

4 - PLACING AN ORDER
If you’re clear on design, colour, & construction, combine them into a word or PDF file and send them via email or WhatsApp.
Soon we’ll add an example of how to hand-over your knitwear designs.
The sampling process
As it is tricky creating knitwear samples from images, unless you have sent us the real sample to follow and you wish them remade for any reason, it is chargeable.
Depending on your fit notes, we can produce 10 samples in 3 to 4 weeks and remakes in 7 to 10 days.
Production
Working from approved samples, we can produce up to 1,000 pcs per month.

Crochet is a 100% handmade product. Therefore, we cannot give specific timelines for production orders until we know the quantity. Working from approved samples, we can produce up to 1,000 pcs per month.
The sampling process
As it is tricky creating knitwear samples from images, unless you have sent us the real sample to follow and you wish them remade for any reason, it is chargeable.
Please note the sampling timeline depends on how complex the design is and how many orders we have on hand. We can usually produce up to ten samples in three to four weeks, and remakes can take up to ten days working from your fit notes.

As we don’t handle crochet in-house, we hire teams of crochet makers in specific villages across Bali. It may take them several hours to come to and from our office to present the samples, so be as clear and accurate as possible using the best images you can find with notes on any changes you want made.

You can see some examples of designs that we consider relatively simple.
Please note. You can’t produce complex crochet styles, so keep your crochet techniques simple. We can add scalloped edges & some ties etc., but please don’t send over requests for styles with many flowers or complex handwork.

SPACE DYED KNITTING
What is space-dyed knitting?
The process of space dye requires us to knit twice. We knit a simple knit construction, which is then hand dyed to your Pantone colour references.
Once complete, the knit construction is spun back onto new bobbins which are then knitted to your requested construction. Take a look at the images and videos below to get an idea of how this process works.
We knit space dye using the same knitting machines we use to construct our knitwear. Like knitting, we need to understand the construction, which in most cases is as per the styles shown.

It is important to keep in mind that some bleeding is possible during the hand-dying process. You may find that, for example, if you request a red & yellow, the dyes bleed, adding orange. As another example, purple & yellow may have some small sections of brown. The best way to reduce bleeding is to work with colours of the same family, for example, dark & light blue & Indigo, since bleeding won’t overtly affect the final outcome.

Once you have your colours as Pantone reference, take a snippet & send over your colour combo choices using Pantone colour codes as a reference; for example, Indigo blue, we found this
Please note. Our minimum amount for dyeing per colour request is 5 meters, charged at $7 per meter.
